I got this pictures on Facebook that a young man was today stoned and later burnt alive at aliade in Benue state North Central Nigeria for allegedly stealing a Bajaj Motorcycle. This is the very country where people come out to protest if one Dasuki or one Olisa Metuh or one Suswam or one Akume or one Iorsamber is arrested and detained for stealing a whole state budget. They will come out with placards and all forms stories alleging witch hunt or wizard fishing or the rest. Nigerians must understand who the real thieves are and go after them and stop killing hungry boys you have been subjected to hardship by these thieves. Let's unite and kill corruption.

6 THINGS PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD DO TO MAKE AN INTELLIGENT BABY
Pregnancy should be taken seriously. If you don’t act responsible, consequences can be quite severe. However, we won’t be discussing consequences now, but we’ll focus on the positive side by listing the things every mother can do in order to make an intelligent baby! Like with a lot of other subjects, medical experts don’t have a common theory about concrete things expectant mothers should do, but there are certain points on which they agree… sort of. Various tests have been performed in order to determine what babies respond to, and this is what we found out.
Prepare for Story Time!
Although babies can’t understand the actual words, reading them a story will affect the way they feel about your voice, in fact – they’ll remember it. You should also know that language foundations develop in the womb, and around the third trimester your baby will be able to hear sounds and memorize them. Besides, it’s never too early to start sharing your favorite stories and fairy tales with your babe, so go on, get your favorite book and start reading.

Daily Exposure to Sunlight
The sunshine vitamin – vitamin D – is quite important for you and your baby. Your daily schedule as an expectant mother needs to include about twenty minutes of daily exposure to sunlight. Of course, you need to take care of your skin and apply appropriate creams. This vitamin is the key nutrient that helps your baby develop strong and healthy bones. Some medical experts connect the lack of vitamin D with the development of autism, so you shouldn’t take your chances with this one.
Bonding through Massage
If you want to put in some extra effort into creating a strong bond with your child before that baby is even born, you should do that through the art of touch. When the twentieth week is over, your baby will be able to feel touches, thanks to the fact that its nervous system is developed enough. Some research shows that unborn babies can even tell the difference between a mother’s and a father’s touch. So, what are you waiting for? Grab some essential oils and give your bump a nice long massage! Besides, applying nurturing oils is quite good for expectant mothers, because it helps with avoiding pregnancy stretch marks, and it’s a great way to relax.
Healthy Rhymes for a Healthy Mind
We already mentioned how babies-to-be respond to talking, but you’ll get an even better reaction with music and rhymes. When you sing to your bump, it helps your baby with the production of serotonin and other happiness chemicals. If you’re not much of a singer, you can achieve the same effect by playing music, and you can use the tunes you sang and played to calm your baby later.
A Diet Focused on Diversity
The world is your oyster. You should eat absolutely everything that comes to your mind, except foods rich in mercury. It’s found mostly in certain types of fish like sharks, tuna and swordfish, so you should try to avoid these. However, fish rich in fatty acids like salmon are very good for you, so do your research before you eat. It will be hard at first, because of that awfully uncomfortable morning sickness, but as soon as that is over you’ll need to adopt routines, eat regularly and enjoy healthy portions.

Pregnant Women Need Balance
While you’re pregnant, you need to listen to your body and do exactly what it says. There should be no exhausting or unnecessary strains during those nine months. However, it’s quite important to stay active throughout, because your baby and you both need some exercise. There are all sorts of smart gadgets that will be more than useful when it comes to keeping track of the distance you cover during your walks, and they help a lot with establishing routines and sticking to them. Your days should be all about long rests, healthy meals and exercise – everything else isn’t worth your while.

A true mother is one who sacrifices for her children, a caregiver who does whatever it takes to put a smile on the faces of her children. In a world where true motherhood is becoming a rarity, Mrs Godwin is an exception
Mrs Godwin is a fish seller and mother of six , her first son is  Joseph, a member of the National Youths Service Corp who recently posted a picture of himself and his mum on social media. In the picture, he is dressed in the NYSC uniform while his mother puts on the NYSC face–cap. The picture was taken in the market where she sells fish. The picture got the attention of Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu. She posted it on her social media platform and it has gone viral since then.
According to Toyin Aimakhu:” God will bless him and his mother. He is a son who will never forget the sacrifice his mother made for him”
In this interview with Women of Rubies, Mrs Godwin shares her inspirational story. It will trigger your emotions and probably make you cry.

The Beginning
My name is Eunice Godwin a fish- seller. My husband works as a security guard. He lives in Kaduna South, Nassarawa. I gave birth to six children, two boys and four girls .I love my children a lot and would do whatever it takes to make sure they are successful. I started the fish business ten years ago because I see it as a means to sponsor my children’s education.  The fact that I make profit from this business gives me joy and makes me fulfilled.
Challenges
I am facing a lot of challenges in my business. Government workers are against people selling by the roadside and we are always in constant fear that they can show up at any time. Another challenge I face is that my neighbors complain that the smoke coming out from the fishes irritate them .I need a place I can be doing that because I sell smoked and fresh fishes.
IMG-20160129-WA0022
Sustaining the business
As a result of the need to sponsor my children’s education, I put in my best and do everything within my power to sustain the business. The profits made is sent to my children in school. I used the profits made from selling fish to sponsor my child who is currently undertaking his national youth service and others who just gained admission. I have always dreamt of sponsoring my children to the university and this is already happening.

Giving up
I sometimes feel like giving up on my business. I buy the fishes on credit and pay at the end of the day. Sometimes I am not able to pay all because I would need the money, to be sent to my son in school. This makes me owe the person who sold the fishes to me . I am still paying the debt because it is much
Viral picture
When my son told me the picture we took has spread I was really surprised. I didn’t really look beautiful in the picture. I am really happy for it. My son was used by God to make the picture go that far.

DANISH WOMAN RESCUES LITTLE BOY WHO WAS ACCUSED OF WITHCRAFT AND LEFT TO DIE IN UYO
On Sunday, a Danish woman, Anja Ringgren Loven, a Philanthropist an founder of African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation ( ACAEDF) who lives with her partner and son in Uyo rescued a little boy who had been abandoned by his family because they claimed he was a ‘witch’. She took him into her care, fed him, gave him clothes and he is currently receiving some medical attention. This was what she shared on her Facebook page:
Ive seen much here in Nigeria over the last 3 years. I have spared you for many experiences when we’ve been on the rescue operations. Thousands of children are being accused of being witches and we’ve both seen torture of children, dead children and frightened children. This footage shows why I fight. Why I sold everything I own. Why I’m moving out in uncharted territory. Why the new documentary is so important for dinnødhjælps work so we can shout world leaders up so we can get focused on superstition in Nigeria! I hope you will all see with when ” Anja Africa ‘ is being shown on TV. Together we can make the biggest difference! 💪🏽
I have chosen to call the boy hope for right now, we all hope that he survives. He is in the hospital and you guys want to support hope with medicine and hospital bills as you daily pay for hospitalisation here in Nigeria can make a contribution on dinnødhjælps mobilepay: 27 21 24 34
The details of today’s rescue mission yesterday I can’t go into now. But you will see it all in the new documentary “Anja Africa” being shown on dr2 so remember to watch!

Today she gave an update of the boy she named”Hope” :
“We should be proud to be Danes. We are a loving people and we’re taking good care of each other. We are always together when there is need our help. When natural disasters hit, famine ravaging and civil wars devastate affects us deeply. We Danes are among the world’s most generous. We are the best to donate money to charity, help others and do volunteer work. More than every other of us Danes gives money to charity and help people we don’t know. And we must be proud!
Right now we danes hung out in the foreign media. Incorrect or not, media account certainly not the true picture of US DANES. For when it comes to love there are no countries can match us! So let us give the media something new to write about. Something to really show them who we danes are!
Just 2 DAYS HAVE DINNØDHJÆLP RECEIVED 1 million dollars to help little hope!!! Let me repeat that: 1 million Danish kroner is donated to dinnødhjælp in just 2 DAYS!!!
My feelings are sitting without his clothes! I’m so overwhelmed! I’m so grateful and touched by all the love, care and huge support there just pouring here to Nigeria all the way from Denmark! I want as long as I live thank you all every day! I forget simply never! With all the money we can besides giving hope the very best treatment now also build a doctor clinic on the new land and save many more children out of torture! It’s just so great! The building must be called hope clinic – donated city Denmark!! They say thanks is just a poor words, but for me means thank you life! And to those who says otherwise, then we can today together prove to the whole world that charity indeed still exists in Denmark! heart emoticon
Hope’s condition is stable now. He’s taking food for himself, and he responds to the medicine he gets. Today he has had powers to sit up and smiling at us. He’s a strong little boy. To see him sit and play with my own son is without doubt the greatest experience of my life! I just don’t know how to describe it in words. This is what makes life so beautiful and valuable and therefore I will let the pictures speak for themselves:
Today we “groundbreaking” ceremony at the construction site. Ground breaking ceremony where we are so lucky to the Danish Ambassador here in Nigeria participates as a guest of honour and the keynote speaker. I can’t believe our ambassador and his sweet wife comes entirely from the capital Abuja to our little village where dinnødhjælp builds a new orphanage and participating in our ceremony. It’s so big and I am very pleased to see the ambassador again. Today during the ceremony I will think of our architect Martin from engineers without borders and his working group as in more than half a year now worked every day for putting together and draw dinnødhjælps orphanage in cooperation with our Nigerian engineers. I very much look forward to show you all the outcome when the construction is finished. About 1 years running little hope around on dinnødhjælps new orphanage and play with all the other children.
Where there is love, there is life
